Camera work analysis

1) Camera shots Pick  three  camera  shots  from the scene and explain what type of shot it is and what meanings or effect they have on the audience. M edium close up-  shoulders up  close up shot- shows the persons features  over the shoulder- used when people are talking  2) Camera angle Pick  one  camera  angle  that is used in the scene and explain the effect it has on the audience.  over the head- shows that the person is weak  3) Camera movement Pick  one  aspect of  camera movement  in the clip. Identify the type of camera movement and write about why the director chose to use that camera movement in the scene and what effect it has on the audience. Pan- to reveal what was going on

 Establishing shot  Used to introduce location, set the scene or show huge action set pieces. Shows whole setting. Long shot  Head and toe visible shows plenty of background.  Medium shot  Waist to head is visible actor and setting roughly equal in frame
